The East End Community Development Alliance (the Alliance) is a charitable company providing support, advice and information to the voluntary and community sector in the East End of Newcastle.

Who we are
The East End Community Development Alliance is a registered charity 1120816 and a company limited by guarantee 6262726, we have over 100 community and voluntary sector organisations on our membership some are listed on this site.
We are a community development organisation who have been based in the East End of Newcastle upon Tyne for the past 9 years, this means we have a wealth of knowledge about the area and its people. Our approach to building the capacity of the local comunity is based on the national occupatonal standards in community development.

We offer
- Practical support from our Linkworker team, e.g. support with fundraising, governance, organising an event, promoting your organisation's services or activities
- Training for local workers, volunteers and residents
- Support to enable the voice of the local voluntary and community sector to be heard when decisions about the East End are being made
- Opportunities to network with other local voluntary and community sector organisations.
